OUR STORY
2. Kindness - unlike many other 501(c)3s, LMP's mission is both simple and broad. LMP seeks to encourage basic, simple acts of kindess on a daily basis between members of communities. This can be as simple as sending a text or dropping off a food basket. Or as grand as throwing a fundraiser or even starting your own charity. We do this by connecting people, services and other 501(c)3s so that there is a parachute for everyone. With all of the resources America has, noone should be left to walk alone.

3. Service - at LMP we believe in service. Service is the spark that lights the fire of community within us. Service can be daily, monthly or yearly but we see service as the pivot point at which communities assemble and LOVE grows. To that end we focus on providing both physical and virtual platforms and space for OVERCOMERS who are willing to speak out and encourage others in their area of focus, for when they openly tell of their victory, they provide a parachute for others to feel safe, accepted and loved. These people can be anyone in the community and we are excited to see them come out. It might just surprise you who they are.
Love is My Parachute is a modern 501(c)3 that focuses on and attempts to reverse certain societal issues, many of which were exacerbated by the COVID-19 epidemic.

LMP's Main Pillars of Focus Are:

1. Community - our communities have been ravaged by the effects of separation, not just physically during the pandemic, but geo-politically. Threats such as bad policies, inflammatory politics and toxic social media have harmed our connectivity with each other and oftentimes, within ourselves. Things that we thought could connect us have often left us more separated than ever before. In short, we seek to re-weave the fabric of America, one small act of love at a time.
